Jane Whittlesey

Beginning and Intermediate Painting and Drawing

Jane specializes in people who cannot draw straight lines or stick figures. She is a funny, kind, enthusiastic, knowledgeable teacher who firmly believes in the genetic inevitability of the artistic whim. Jane will teach anyone over the age of 12 and welcomes students with special needs. All of Jane’s classes are small, and are best described as individual, semi-private lessons in a group setting. Adult evening students may receive a complimentary glass of wine during class time, if desired. Jane supplies canvases and other materials to students at cost ($5 - $8), and professional grade acrylic or oil paints + brushes for $3 per session

She says you cannot really make a mistake with your painting, one only works a little more on it to refine and perfect.

Donna has found working with polymer clay very satisfying too. She creates beautiful wall hangings that are appealing to the senses. Donna teaches pastel, watercolor and polymer clay at the gallery and in her studio. Contact her for more information.
